Gear Fasting

Well, I went for a 1-year “gear fasting” and I am proud to say that it is almost done! I have promised myself in the beginning of year (that is, 2009) that I will not buy any equipment/gear that is related to guitars. There was one misstep, when my wife gave me a Barber 1/2 Gainer Overdrive for my birthday. Although, technically, I didn’t buy it. So really, it’s not cheating. Isn’t it?! 
So as a reward for being such a good boy, I am starting to look at these 2 products:
- Tascam DR-07 Hand-held Recorder
- TC Electronic Nova Repeater
Both are priced similarly, but obviously, would provide different sort of enjoyment to me. So far it’s a 50-50 proposition for both. Okay, maybe a slight edge to the Nova Repeater. C’mon, who can say “No” to a delay pedal!
